We had the pleasure of working with Ivona as both buyers and sellers. My wife and I were looking to transition from our condo downtown to a 3 bdr-house because of the arrival of our newborn daughter. Right from our first meeting with Ivona we could tell that she has her clients' best interests at heart. My first impression of Ivona was that she was very polite and friendly. She told me step-by-step exactly what I needed to do, to get my house sold as soon as possible. Ivona was honest about some minor changes that I needed to make in my home to attract buyers quickly, and her advice worked like a charm. She also came in and touched up before the open house on her own. I was very surprised to know she staged my empty home with furniture, etc. to make it look more appealing to potential buyers.

I feel that Ivona took initiative many times, instead of calling me in to do it. Therefore, she saved me a lot of time and stress. She also came to me for our meetings. I only had to go into her office once, for closing. She always kept me up-to-date, usually a phone call every other day. She returned all phone calls and emails the same day. I never felt neglected or unimportant.

My home was sold in two weeks, which she predicted during our first meeting. It also sold over asking price! I was very nervous during closing. Ivona was very humorous and reassuring. She took her time explaining the bidding process and paperwork. I found Ivona to be a highly attentive agent, almost as if I were her only customer, which was not the case.

Ivona Holland is a sales representative of Real Estate Homeward Brokerage, and she introduced herself to our neighbourhood with a flyer awhile back. A few weeks ago, my husband and I decided to sell our house, I took a chance and called Ivona. We wanted to leave Toronto and move to a small town for a simpler life style as our retirement is approaching. However, our house was an old bungalow with a new addition at the back. The entire set-up appeared to be an unusual design. Since I am an artist, I painted the entire interior with unique colours and images. Furthermore, I used the front of the house as an art studio, and I had a few students coming for private art lessons. So, I asked Ivona if she could accommodate me with my teaching schedule while she was selling the house. She said with confidence, “Sure!”
